ASP.NET Developer

PERSON PROFILE

You will be;

The right web developer will be an ASP.NET or C# developer with experience of working closely with internal and external front end development teams.

Used to working on public facing websites, micro sites and applications you will know best practices to help prevent against XSS and SQL Injection hacks.

The ideal ASP.NET developer will also know the differences between the DataList, DataGrid and Repeater controls and when they would use each one in a public facing web site.

In your present role you will be used to juggling various projects of various build sizes (anywhere from 3 days to 12 weeks) and as such we feel this role would suit a backend web developer coming from an agency environment.

Ideally you will have experience in an agile environment or at least an interest and aptitude in working this way.

THE ROLE

This organisation had been outsourcing their back end development needs to external agencies until appointing a head of technology in October 2009 with the remit to develop an in-house development team. This will be the first appointment for this team and as such the right developer will ideally be from or looking for a leading role and be keen to get involved at all levels including putting in place working practices alongside the head of technology. You will be a strong communicator and keen to be involved with all aspects of the company not a wall flower with your head down coding.
